Why this is not the same as your sign's reading

A daily horoscope is written for a twelfth of the population, in advance, by somebody who does not know you exist. This is computed at the moment you ask, from your birth star rather than your sign, and the transits are weighed against your own chart's ashtakavarga. Most days come out ordinary — around two in five — and this page says so rather than finding drama every morning.
